Towards Developing a Screening Strategy for Ecstasy: Revealing the Electrochemical Profile

چکیده

This article describes the development of an electrochemical screening strategy for 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), regular psychoactive compound in ecstasy (XTC) pills. We have investigated specific profile MDMA and its electro-oxidation mechanisms at disposable graphite screen-printed electrodes. proved that formation a radical cation subsequent reactions are indeed responsible electrode surface passivation, as evidenced by using electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy electrochemistry. Thereafter, pure cutting agents well simulated binary mixtures compounds with were subjected to square wave voltammetry pH 7 understand characteristic profile. An additional measurement 12 was able resolve false positives negatives occurring 7. Finally, validation done measuring set street samples. Overall, our proposed has been demonstrated rapid, sensitive, selective detection MDMA, resolving most given traditional Marquis color tests, thus exhibiting remarkable promises on-site MDMA.

Towards a Sustainable Anti-Corruption Strategy: An Ethic-Induced Model

Literature abounds to show that the current anti-corruption strategies have failed to fight corruption because of neglect of ethics in these strategies, despite its importance. The purpose of this paper is to make a contribution to anti-corruption theory by developing a model that clarifies many complex ethical dilemmas around corruption. To develop a conceptual model, the extant literatures on...

Towards a Rational Screening Strategy for Albuminuria: Results from the Unreferred Renal Insufficiency Trial

BACKGROUND There remains debate about the screening strategies for albuminuria. This study evaluated whether a screening strategy in an apparently healthy population based on basic clinical and biochemical parameters could be more effective than a strategy where screening for albuminuria is performed unselectively. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS The Unreferred Renal Insufficiency (URI) Study ...
